Bashkim Kadrii joins Minnesota FC

Bashkim Kadrii has been loaned to the MLS club Minnesota United FC for the rest of 2017.

“Bashkim got off to a good start at FCK but after his injury has had difficulty getting the playing time he needs if he is return to his highest level,” said FCK manager Ståle Solbakken.

“With this loan he hopefully will get a longer and more consistent playing time, so we can get to see him back as the talented player he is.”

Kadrii joined Copenhagen in the summer of 2014 but unfortunately suffered a serious knee injury in the autumn of that year.

Now he hopes a stint in the US will reboot his career.

“For me it is important to get started playing matches at a high level again,” Kadrii said.

“It has been difficult for me to have the opportunity at FCK after I came back from my injury, so I look forward to getting a fresh start in Minnesota, where I hope to play a lot of matches in an interesting league.”
