Viktor Dadason extends FCK contract

Viktor Dadason has signed a long-term contract with F.C. Copenhagen, having made a positive impression since arriving at the club in 2024.

Director of Development Morten Grahn says of the agreement: “Viktor’s contract extension is a strong testament to our ambition of securing a Nordic core of players. It also highlights our success in scouting and recruitment within the Nordic markets.

“It’s encouraging that our FCK model helps create an environment and development pathway that appeals to talented young players, where they can see a clear route to the first team if they’re good enough.”

Dadason: Couldn’t be in a better place
Dadason, 17, joined F.C. Copenhagen in the summer of 2024 from Fram in Reykjavik.

Although he’s only been in Copenhagen for just over a year, he already feels at home.

“Of course, I’m really pleased to have extended my contract,” says Dadason.

“It’s a sign that things are going well and that I’m on the right path. There are many skilled coaches and staff around us all the time, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a better place to continue my development.

“My goal is obviously to break into the first team, become a key player in the Superliga, and score goals in Parken.

“I know it’ll take a lot of hard work to get there, but I’m excited to keep pushing forward with great teammates, coaches, and everyone involved with the team.”

Køhler: A driven and talented young striker
Head of Recruitment Mikkel Køhler is pleased that a new deal has been agreed with Dadason.

“Viktor has made great strides since arriving in Copenhagen,” says Mikkel. “He has had a really positive spell at the club, starting out with our U17 squad and quickly establishing himself as the goal-scoring type of player we had identified. He’s continued to develop and has recently become a regular starter for our U19 team.

“He has also had a taste of first-team training and featured in a few matches, where he has given us encouraging signs. There is no doubt that hard work lies ahead for Viktor and the staff around him, but we’re dealing with a driven and talented young striker who knows where the goal is and is effective in tight spaces.

“Viktor has shown he has the potential to become a first-team player at F.C. Copenhagen, and that’s why we’re delighted to have signed this long-term deal with him.”
