FCK x Red Cross shirt auction raises 226,252 DKK (€30,000)

F.C. Copenhagen fans have raised more than €30,000 (226,252 DKK) for the Danish Red Cross via an auction of the Lions' home shirts from September's home game against FC Nordsjælland.

The annual auction takes place after FCK players have worn the Red Cross' logo on their shirts for a Superliga match, in recognition of the volunteers who provide nationwide support for those in need.

This year is the organisation's 150th anniversary – and FCK fans have raised a significant sum for the Red Cross via a combination of the shirt auction and proceeds from fan donations and the club's ticket donations to volunteers.

Thomas Delaney's jersey fetched the highest price, raising 23,678.50 DKK (€3,100 / £2,700 / $3,600) alone.

The club would like to thank everyone who contributed in one way or another to support the Red Cross and once again helped make a difference to their work.
