FCK Women advance with 8-0 Danish Cup win

F.C. Copenhagen Women are into the third round this season's Danish Cup after an 8-0 win over Svogerslev on Wednesday.

An own goal four minutes in got the ball rolling for the Loinesses, with Dana Leskinen, Sille Fuhlendorff and Maja Johansson finding the net before the break.

Frederikke Boisen made it 5-0 a minute into the second half, before Anna Hemmingsen bagged a double and Lucy Roberts scored late on to wrap up the win.

Victory moves FCK into the third round and means we have now scored 15 goals in the cup already this season, after we beat Næstved HG 7-0 away in the first round.

Next up for the Lionesses is a trip to AGF on Saturday at 1pm, before we return to Vanløse on Sunday 20 September for an 11:30am showdown with Kolding IF.

Tickets are also on sale for the derby against Brøndby IF, which is being played in Parken Stadium on Saturday 3 October (3pm).
