F.C. Copenhagen Women can secure promotion on Saturday

F.C. Copenhagen Women are a game away from securing promotion to Denmark's 1st Division – and you can be there to roar the Lionesses on at Vanløse Idrætspark!

FCK Women have four games remaining in their inaugural season. One more win and it will be enough to secure promotion.

The team face AaB at home on Saturday (2pm). If FCK Women win and Aalborg Freja lose to Varde on the same day then the Lionesses will be promoted.

Admission to Saturday's game – the fifth in this season's playoffs – is free and head of women's football Rebecca Steele is excited about the prospect of seeing the team promoted.

"It is fantastic that we already have the opportunity to fulfil our core goal for our first season, but it will not be easy against a strong AaB team, whom we drew 0-0 against in Aalborg a couple of weeks ago," says Rebecca.

"I hope many fans will come to Vanløse on Saturday and support the team, and who knows - maybe we can celebrate promotion after the final whistle. Otherwise, we have three more chances when we then play away against Varde and at home against Aalborg Freja and Næstved."
