Two goals in two minutes

FC Copenhagen continued their unbeaten run with a deserved 2-0-win at home against Silkeborg after two goals in two minutes in the middle of the first half.

Mathias Zanka missed his first game of the season due to suspension and was replaced by the experienced Mikael Antonsson. Manager Ståle Solbakken also decided to rest goalkeeper Robin Olsen and captain Thomas Delaney, but Federico Santander was back again - with a Zorro-like mask - after he broke his cheek bone against Club Bruges two weeks ago.

The Lions dominated the first half and two goals in two minutes by Rasmus Falk and Andreas Cornelius gave them the early lead they wanted.

Silkeborg had their chances to reduce the lead but failed to take advantage of them, and the second half was pretty uneventful as Copenhagen controlled the game and took the opportunity to save some energy for Tuesdays Champions League-game in Leicester.

The results in the Alka Superliga mean that FC Copenhagen now sit six points ahead at the top of table after 13 games.
