Training at Old Trafford

Press meeting with Ståle Solbakken
- We are not favourites, that's for sure. But when the game is over, we should think back on it with proudness and say to ourselves that we did our best. We have already shown that we can match the two other teams in the group. Tomorrow we hope we can tease Manchester United, but if we play them 15 times, we would normally only win once. But it could happen tomorrow, and I actually believe it will be easier to get points here than to defeat Ajax in Amsterdam, said head coach Ståle Solbakken on todays press meeting at Old Trafford.

- There is nothing new about Tobias Linderoth, it's up to him if he will play, and we have made the proper arrangements to get him over here on Tuesday, if he wants to. William Kvist and Oscar Wendt are getting treatment for minor injuries, and they will go through a final test tomorrow. If they are not ready, we have alternatives, said Ståle Solbakken.

- Even if we loose on Tuesday, we can still advance from the group, because we will only be halfways through the group, and it won't be easy in PARKEN for neither United nor Celtic. So we don't panic if we loose tomorrow - we come here to win, but one point well be okay, said Solbakken with a smile on his lips, before he went down to the pitch to coach the players for a light training session.

Interviews

FCK.DK got a few words with some of the players:

- We hope we can go home with a point or three, but of course we need some luck, because we know it will be difficult. We must have a good organisation to get a result here, said Michael Silberbauer.

- No matter who is in the line up for Manchester United they have no obvious weaknesses. It is high class players. They are the favourites in our group, and if we don't come forward more than in our first two games, it's gonna be very difficult, said Swedish striker Marcus Allbäck.

- We can always hope they'll have a bad day, but anyway we must play our chance, because we've got nothing to loose, stated central defender Michael Gravgaard.

- I'll have to wait and see tomorrow. Of course no one wants to miss a game like this, but I don't know yet if I will be fit, said Oscar Wendt.

- My chances to get fit? Fifty-fifty, added William Kvist.

It's a well-known fact that confident teams spend a
lot of time practicing how to celebrate a goal...
