Matchday minus one in Bucharest

While FC Copenhagen prepared for their clash with Steaua Bucharest this evening, defender Kris Stadsgaard spoke to the press on Wednesday.

Kris answered questions from Danish and Romanian journalists inside the National Arena:

- It would be good if there are 50,000 spectators tomorrow – it makes the game even more fun. We are also accustomed to playing in front of many spectators in Copenhagen.

The Romanian journalists wanted to know how much Kris knows about tonight’s opponents, and if FC Copenhagen would be happy with one point:

- We have not seen any videos of Steaua yet, so I can not really say much about the team, or who are their biggest players.

- There’s four good teams in this group, but often it is the case that you get three points at home and one point away, so that would be good good – but it will obviously be even better for us if we take all three points tomorrow.

- Stuttgart were favourites before we started the group. It is a great club and they play in a major league, but we know perfectly well that Steaua is also a great club, a club with a proud tradition, a brand new stadium and good support – so we’ll work on it in morning.
