Copenhagen went into the game on the back of a stunning 5-0 victory over Silkeborg the week before, but struggled to mount any early pressure against a stolid Horsens set-up. Both Christian Bolaños and Kris Sigurdsson had punts at goal that failed to trouble keeper Frederik Ronnøw.

On 29 minutes, however, Copenhagen took a 1-0 lead when Lars Jacobsen lofted in a tantalising cross for Andreas Cornelius, who rose above two Horsens defenders to head home his tenth goal of the season.

Moments later and Horsens were level, when striker Jude Nworuh slid in to net a scuffed Janus Drachmann effort that was heading wide of goal.

The second half offered little in noteworthy chances and although both Santin and Cornelius came agonisingly close with headed attempts FCK had to settle for a single point on their drive back to the capital.
