Match highlights: FCK 2-1 AC Horsens

FC Copenhagen maintained their six-point lead at the top of the Superliga with a 2-1 win over AC Horsens on Sunday. Watch all the highlights here, at FCKTV.

With FC Nordsjælland victorious on Saturday, it was crucial the Lions kept to winning ways to ensure their title aspirations stay firmly within their grasp. Carsten V. Jensen’s men faced a tough opponent in Horsens, who sat third in the Superliga coming into the fixture.

After a dogged opening for both teams, FCK finally took the lead just before half time. Christian Bolaños played César Santin through with a delightful pass, but as the Brazilian was about to shoot Niels Lodberg cut across and brought him down. Santin took the penalty himself, chipping the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

Horsens had a large spell of pressure in the second half rewarded when Ken Fagerberg shot across Johan Wiland into the bottom left corner of the net after timing the offside trap perfectly.

Within minutes however FCK were back on top. Lars Jacobsen surged down the right flank and chipped deep to the far post, where Bryan Oviedo stormed in to knock in his first ever Superliga goal for Copenhagen, securing a 2-1 victory for the Danish champions.
