Lions sink AGF in second half

Federico Santander continued his fine form in front of goal to inspire FC Copenhagen to a 2-0 victory over AGF in Telia Parken.

The Paraguayan came off the bench to arrow home a header midway through the second half and finally break down a resolute visiting defence.

Kasper Kusk wrapped up the three points with a minute remaining when he sprinted clear of AGF’s last man from the halfway line before side-footing into the net from the edge of the area.

Captain Thomas Delaney headed onto the crossbar minutes before the opining goal, while Peter Ankersen also dragged wide from the right on a counter attack.

The result is a timely boost for FCK as they prepare to face Club Brugge in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday.
