Lions sign Bashkim Kadrii

FC Copenhagen have signed Danish winger Bashkim Kadrii from Odense BK.

The 23-year-old, former B.93 youngster, has signed a four-year contract and joins the Lions with immediate effect.

FCK manager Ståle Solbakken explained his decision to bring Kadrii to Telia Parken.

- We have got a player who can play on both wings and in extreme cases even at left-back. He has a physique that allows him to succeed both at international and club level, and he has recovered fully from his previous injury and is approaching full fitness.

Kadrii himself spoke to FCK.dk and expressed his delight at signing for the Lions.

- I am extremely pleased that FCK have shown their interest to me and I'm just as excited to play in Europe and be at the top of Danish football again.

- Great challenges await me here and it means a lot to me. FCK means a lot and my gut feeling was never in doubt - I wanted to come to Copenhagen and represent a huge club.

Bashkim Kadrii has been given the number 9 shirt.
