Inspired by Den Røde Plads in Nørrebro: F.C. Copenhagen and adidas present the Third Jersey 26/27

F.C. Copenhagen and adidas today present the Third Jersey 26/27. It completes the season’s three jerseys: the home jersey carries the coat of arms, the away jersey honours the fans who travel with the team, and the third jersey pays tribute to one of the city’s best-known squares.

The jersey is inspired by Den Røde Plads in Superkilen, Nørrebro – one of Copenhagen’s most iconic meeting points. Superkilen opened in 2012 and is filled with objects from around 60 countries, chosen by the people who live there. Every day, people’s paths cross here. The Third Jersey 26/27 is our tribute to the square, to Nørrebro and to the locals who have made it what it is.

The details tell the story. The red base is taken from the square’s red surfaces – a colour that has always had a place in our logo. A pattern inspired by the square’s shapes runs across the entire shirt. Different shades of red on the collar and cuffs also reference the square, while the adidas three stripes across the shoulders come in white. The coat of arms sits at the back of the neck.

The pattern is unique on every single jersey. No two are the same – there’s only one like yours.

The team will wear the jersey for the first time on Monday 2 November at 19:00, away against Sønderjyske in the Superliga.

The Third Jersey 26/27 is available from today at 10 AM in the FCK Fanshop at Parken and online. Season ticket holders and subscribers, including FCK+, get 10% off – remember to use your discount.

INFO

The park’s Red Square is known for its striking red surfaces and bold geometric patterns. Designed to celebrate the neighbourhood’s culturally diverse character, Superkilen serves as an open-air world exhibition, bringing together objects and cultural references from more than 60 countries.

Created by Danish art collective SUPERFLEX in collaboration with Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and landscape architects Topotek 1, the park has become an internationally recognised urban landmark, featured in architecture, design and travel publications around the world.

“With Superkilen, our ambition was to create a public space that celebrates the cultural diversity of Nørrebro and the communities that shape Copenhagen. The Red Square was designed as an everyday meeting place, bringing people from different backgrounds together. Today, Superkilen has become an iconic part of Copenhagen’s urban identity, attracting international attention as an example of how public spaces can reflect diversity and foster a sense of community,” says Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, artist and co-founder of SUPERFLEX
