Lions prepare for UCL with league win

FC Copenhagen prepared for Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier against APOEL with a 3-1 Alka Superliga win over FC Midtjylland.

Midtjylland took the lead through Jacob Poulsen’s free-kick but the Lions hit back in the second half with three goals.

Erik Johansson levelled when he headed home on 66 minutes and an own goal from goalkeeper Johan Dahlin handed FCK the lead after good work from Ludwig Augustinsson down the left.

And Youssef Toutouh rounded off the victory with two minutes remaining - the winger drilling home his effort from the edge of the box.

Copenhagen host APEOL in the first leg of their Champions League qualifying playoff tie against the Greek side on Tuesday in Telia Parken.
