Gamboa trains with squad

After a frantic match yesterday that ended in a 4-2 victory away at HB Køge, the FC Copenhagen squad gathered back at Number 10 today. Training consisted of a light game for the players who started yesterday, but those with little or no playing time trained harder, with a reserve match scheduled for 13:00.

Cristian Gamboa played in the reserve match. FCK TV will bring an interview with the Costa Rican international later today, to go alongside the highlights of the reserve game on the website.

Five players were also absent due to national team commitments today: Dame N'Doye, Bryan Oviedo, Christian Grindheim, Mathias Zanka and Thomas Delaney, the latter for Denmark’s U21 squad.

Johan Wiland, Sölvi Ottesen, and Johnny Thomsen were also selected for their countries, but have opted out due to various fitness concerns. All three were available for today's workout and while Wiland stayed mostly in the gym, Ottesen and Thomsen were put through their paces by coaches Donald Storskov and Roland Nilsson.
