FC Copenhagen will wrap up their mid-season Spanish training camp on Tuesday in the final of the Copa del Sol against FC Spartak Moscow.

Carsten V. Jensen's side made the final after a 2-0 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday evening. Goals from Dame N'Doye and Thomas Kristensen sealed the Lions' progression to Tuesday's final.


Copenhagen have been in fine form in the Copa del Sol this winter. Their first outing against Kalmar FF finished 1-0 to the Danish champions, Cesar Santin smashing home a penalty a minute before half time.


In their second game - against FC Anzhi Makhachkala - Copenhagen came back from a goal down to level the scores ten minutes from the final whistle. Samuel Eto'o gave the Russian side the lead from the penalty spot, before Mustafa Abdellaoue equalised with his first goal for his new club.


The tie finished 5-3 to Anzhi on penalties.


By beating Shakhtar, FCK qualified to face the winners of the opposing group in the Copa del Sol: Spartak Moscow. The tie kicks off on Tuesday at 19:00 CET and can be streamed in Denmark on onside.dk.
