Svensson reacts to 3-3 draw at Fredericia

Bo Svensson praised his F.C. Copenhagen squad for their resilience on Sunday as they came back three times to draw 3-3 at FC Fredericia in a rollercoaster game in the Danish Superliga.

Svensson's 100% winning start to his FCK coaching career may be over but first-half goals from Andreas Cornelius and Mads Emil Madsen, and Jordan Larsson's late penalty, earned the Lions a battling point.

"We started the game really badly and didn't seem like we were ready at all," said the head coach.

"We conceded a goal after 45 seconds, and they created a number of good chances in the first 15-20 minutes with very simple means.

"They were faster and more aggressive in the tackles, and their second goal is absolutely crazy. We still came back after both of their goals, but it wasn't until after the break that we had some control of the game for a while.

"I think we were okay with the ball at times, but in general we're not coordinated as a team and not strong enough in duels. And in the end we could have lost the game to a big chance they had in stoppage time.

"So we still have a lot to improve, because the performance must of course be clearly better than today, especially in our defence."

Next up for FCK is a trip to Silkeborg on Sunday, before the Danish Cup final against FC Midtjylland on 14 May, followed by the final game of the season against Randers on 17 May.
