Brandur Olsen strikes again for FCK

Brandur Olsen’s expert free-kick saw FC Copenhagen to victory over Odense and secure second place in the Alka Superliga.

The midfielder, 19, scored the second goal of his Lions career with his first touch of the game by clipping over the wall on 65 minutes after Rurik Gislason had been fouled.

Nicolai Jørgensen was twice denied first-half goals by goalkeeper Mads Toppel, while Steve De Ridder wasted a glorious one-on-one chance at the death.

A Stephan Andersen block early in the second half prevented Emil Larsen scoring for OB, while Martin Spelmann blasted over before the break.

The win means Copenhagen will end their domestic campaign in second place, with their DBU Cup win ensuring passage to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
