Roberto Risnæs sold to Hvidovre IF

Roberto Risnæs has been sold to Danish 1st Division club Hvidovre IF.

F.C. Copenhagen's development director Morten Grahn says: "Roberto has been at KB since he was six years old, and he has taken the whole journey through our FCK Model. He has remained a hardworking, humble and a genuine KB boy, who we can be proud of in every way.

"We educate many talented young players, and not everyone can take the same path through our system. Some players need a different path into senior football, and it is also about the club helping players on their way to this, whether it is at F.C. Copenhagen or elsewhere."

Upon leaving FCK, the 19-year-old striker says he can look back at some fantastic years, adding: "F.C. Copenhagen has been a big part of my life since I was six years old, and I have met so many good people in my time.

"I would like to send them a big thank you, and say thank you for all the years at the club. I will always follow the club, and maybe one day we will meet again in one way or another."
