Jordan Larsson takker af i FCK

F.C. Copenhagen sell Jordan Larsson to Al-Ettifaq

Jordan Larsson has agreed to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq after making 142 appearances for F.C. Copenhagen.

Larsson joined F.C. Copenhagen in January 2023 on a loan deal from Schalke 04 - an agreement that was quickly turned into a permanent deal.

The offensive player has made a significant mark on the team in his three-and-a-half years in Copenhagen. With his 39 goals and 15 assists in 142 official matches, Larsson has delivered produced many memorable moments for the club. Not least in Parken.

Now, however, the time has come for a new chapter for 29-year-old Larsson, who will try his hand at the Saudi Pro League.

”We reached a point where it was natural to discuss the next step, and during this conversation, it became clear that Jordan and his family were interested in trying a new adventure after three-and-a-half years in Copenhagen, says F.C. Copenhagen’s Director of Football, Kristjaan Speakman.

“He had been a really good influence on the club, and it is now time to wish him all the best in the next phase of his football career.”

Larsson: My dreams have come true in Copenhagen
For Larsson himself, parting ways with F.C. Copenhagen is a moment of both sadness and pride.

"Being part of F.C. Copenhagen has been a very special experience in my life in so many ways. That also applies to my family. We have enjoyed it, and I have achieved everything I dreamed of – and much more," says Larsson.

"Now I have been given a new opportunity, but it is with mixed feelings that I leave. Stepping into Parken will forever be something very special for me. My family and I will always follow and support F.C. Copenhagen, and we say thank you for all the warmth we have always received in Copenhagen."

Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen thanks Jordan for his time at the club.
