New F.C. Copenhagen shop opens in city centre
F.C. Copenhagen will very soon have it's very own shop at Unisport on Strøget in Copenhagen. This is due, among other things, to a growing international interest in the Lions brand and merchandise.
For years, F.C. Copenhagen's lion logo has characterized a significant part of the assortment in Unisport's Flagship Store on Strøget in Copenhagen. In close collaboration with adidas, F.C. Copenhagen's Official Retail Partner Unisport is now taking the next step and opening the doors to a dedicated FCK shop in central Copenhagen. For the benefit and joy of both F.C. Copenhageners and tourists to the capital.
Strong collaboration behind
"For us, the most important thing is to make football clothing and equipment available to everyone, and with the great demand we are experiencing for merchandise from F.C. Copenhagen, it was just a matter of going all in. It is an incredibly exciting initiative that has come about on the basis of a strong collaboration with adidas, and we are very much looking forward to inviting you inside the FCK shop," says Mikkel Joakim Sass, Director Clubs from Unisport, adding that the new shop will be located in an extension of Unisport's existing store.
The premises are simple and decorated in white, blue and black. The lion logo hovers above the entrance, and on the TV screens some of F.C. Copenhagen's greatest moments unfold in moving images. The hangers and mannequins are covered in adidas, and it is possible to take a short rest on one of the new blue seats from the Parken stands. This is the experience that millions of tourists and football enthusiasts can look forward to when F.C. Copenhagen, Unisport and adidas soon welcomes you to Strøget.
Copenhagen a key city
"We have been dressing F.C. Copenhagen since 2012, and we are proud to once again take our partnership to the next level. F.C. Copenhagen is a key club and Copenhagen a key city for us, so it is only natural for adidas to prioritize this fantastic opportunity together with Unisport," says Henrik Hallberg, Director PR & Brand Communications at adidas Nordics.
Unisport will operate the new shop, which is independent of F.C. Copenhagen's Fanshop, and will primarily have adidas products on the shelves, but the shop will also be used for shirt launches, player visits and special events as well as ticket sales and tours of the Park.
Greater international interest
"That Unisport and adidas, our close partners for many years, are now opening a very special FCK shop is huge for us, and it is strong proof that we have become relevant to many. We are experiencing a significant increase in both broad and international interest, and with this new shop centrally located in Copenhagen, we can get even closer to both Copenhageners and tourists. We are very much looking forward to it," says Mikkel Grove Lindsted, F.C. Copenhagen's commercial director.
The new shop is operated and managed by Unisport. Therefore, the terms and conditions and discount agreements, etc., known from FCK Fanshop and fckfanshop.dk, do not apply to the new shop at Vimmelskaftet.
