Mohamed Elyounoussi named 3F Superliga Player of the Month for August

F.C. Copenhagen's Mohamed Elyounoussi was presented with the 3F Superliga Player of the Month trophy for August on Sunday before the Lions' 5-0 win over Odense.

Elyounoussi has hit great form in August and has scored nine goals – six of which have come in the Superliga. He also boasts five assists already.

On Sunday he remained on the bench as the Lions won at OB. Only twice before has the Norwegian not be substituted onto the field when he has started on the bench.

The first time was during a Danish Cup match at Hobro in October 2025, and the second time in the last game of last season against Randers, when we had already secured a European playoff spot.
