Amin Chiakha joins Vejle Boldklub on loan

F.C. Copenhagen can confirm Amin Chiakha has joined Vejle Boldklub on loan for the 2025/26 season. The deal aims to give Chiakha more playing time within a senior framework and continue his development in a competitive environment.

"I am happy for this opportunity, which gives me valuable playing time and experience at senior level," says the 19-year-old.
 
"It means a lot to me that my development is in focus.
 
"I have seen other FCK players develop positively through loan spells and now it's my turn. I want to give everything at Vejle – and return to F.C. Copenhagen even better than when I left."
 
The loan agreement includes an option to recall Chiakha back to F.C. Copenhagen in the winter transfer window and is without a purchase option.
 
Sune: We need to give Amin more minutes
"Amin is a player we strongly believe in for the future of F.C. Copenhagen," says FCK sporting director Sune Smith-Nielsen.
 
"Due to strong competition, we have had difficulty giving him the necessary number of minutes here and now. That is why we have chosen to send him to Vejle, where he can gain experience, mature and take on a role with greater responsibility.
 
"We are looking forward to following his development closely – and seeing him grow both as a player and as an individual."
 
Chiakha has so far played 29 games for F.C. Copenhagen and scored seven goals – several of which have come in European competition.
