Semifinals against Lyngby

F.C. Copenhagen will play Lyngby from the 1. division in the semi-finals of the Danish Cup. This was the result of today's draw in DBU (The Danish Football Association), where OB Odense was paired with Viborg.

The first leg will be played at Lyngby Stadium on April 25th, and the second leg in PARKEN og May 2nd.

Lyngby are currently top of the table in the 1. division, and it seems as they will make their comeback in the SAS League in the next season. They were forced to leave the SAS League in 2002 due to economic problems and start all over in Danmarksserien, which is below the 2. division. But during the last 5 years, they have fought themselves back with a very talented group of players and are now standing at the threshold of promotion.

08.11.06 (h) Kolding FC 5-1
