Santander at the double in win at Midtjylland

Federico Santander scored twice as FC Copenhagen edged past FC Midtjylland in the Alka Superliga on Sunday.

Paraguayan striker Santander headed home the opener after just three minutes.

He doubled the Lions’ lead with another header minutes before the half-hour mark - receiving a kick in the face in the process.

But the forward was fit to continue the rest of the game, which saw Andreas Cornelius convert at the far post with five minutes left before Martin Pusic bagged a consolation for Midtjylland.

FCK’s next clash is Wednesday’s Champions League meeting with Leicester in Telia Parken.
