F.C. Copenhagen adjusts club's sporting structure
As part of F.C. Copenhagen’s ongoing development, the structure of the sporting department is being strengthened and optimised, while new areas of focus are being introduced at Parken Stadium.
F.C. Copenhagen is now rolling out the next phase of the club's action plan as a new structure comes into effect at the Number 10 training facility. The new structure aims to improve player development and performance at all levels and ensure the club consistently provides the best possible environment for both the first team and the talent setup. At the same time, new roles are being established at Parken.
Player Recruitment
Recruitment operations are being upgraded to ensure F.C. Copenhagen consistently scouts the players who will shape the club's teams and future. Consequently, F.C. Copenhagen is now seeking a new Head of Player Recruitment to drive the club's strategy for talent identification and recruitment within a unified department covering both the first team and the talent setup.
Simultaneously, recruitment is being strengthened through a regional model and the addition of three full-time regional scouts. Talent recruitment for the U17–U20 age groups in Scandinavia is also being optimised through a regional model and additional hires.
Insights & Analytics
The department's primary focus is to provide data and support to staff and players regarding training, preparation, evaluation and set-pieces, with the aim of maximising on-pitch results and the development of both teams and individual players.
The Insights & Analytics staff will be expanded during the season, focusing on both team and individual development through targeted feedback and reporting.
Football Administration & Operations
Football Administration & Operations serves as the operational backbone of the football department, and a new Head of Football Administration & Operations will be appointed to the team as soon as possible.
This department also encompasses Player Services, which is being strengthened with additional capacity through the appointment of an extra Player Care Manager who will hold overall responsibility for this area.
Public Affairs
Maria Krüger Torp is stepping into a newly created, dedicated Public Affairs role. This is driven by a growing need for political advocacy and stakeholder management regarding the development of Parken, the framework for future modernisation, a new training facility, collaboration with the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, and engagement with political decision-makers.
Communications & Media
F.C. Copenhagen is establishing a new department for media, content, and communications and is seeking a new leader to head the department.
The new department will work closely with Marketing, which continues to be led by Marketing Director Mads Jefsen, who is responsible for marketing and branding. Press Officer Kristoffer Skadhauge will remain the point of contact for the press.
The job postings will be available at www.fck.dk/job in the coming days.
