Peter Nielsen stops as Assistant Coach

F.C. Copenhagen have come to an agreement with Peter Nielsen, who has asked to be relieved of his duties as Assistant Coach for the club.

- We would have preferred to see Peter carry on in the club. His cooperation with Ståle Solbakken and the rest of our training team has been outstanding. To stop any possible speculation we would like to state clearly that this decision is based solely on Peter’s private situation and the club have no wish to make any further statement. Peter is a former FCK player, captain and coach and he will always have a special place in F.C. København. We thank him for his work throughout the many years he has been connected with our club. says Director of Sports Carsten V. Jensen, who now will start the hunt for a replacement as Assistant Coach.
