New numbers for new signings

Already this pre-season have FC Copenhagen brought in Norwegian international Christian Grindheim from Heerenveen, while Johnny Thomsen has moved to the Lions from SønderjyskE. Both players have now been assigned their new squad numbers for the 2011/12 season with FCK.

Midfielder Grindheim will pick up the vacant number 8 shirt left by William Kvist, who joined Stuttgart on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Thomsen will wear number 15, again a vacant shirt number due to the departure of Mikael Antonsson.

Grindheim will start his time at the club during his first training session of the new season on 27 June, while Thomsen is set to meet his new teammates on Monday. The first workout begins 11:00 on Monday morning.
