N'Doye extends Copenhagen contract

N'Doye extends Copenhagen contract

FC Copenhagen have today extended the contract of the club's top scorer Dame N'Doye. The Senegalese striker has agreed terms to stay at the club until 30 June 2014.

Director of Sports Carsten V. Jensen spoke to FCK.DK about the deal:

- We are very pleased to have extended Dame N'Doye’s contract, as he is an important member of our squad. N'Doye has long shown that he can dominate matches not only in the Superliga, but also at the top level of European competition. A contract extension with a player of N'Doye’s caliber is great for FC Copenhagen, and is also a clear signal of the level of ambition at the club.

The current Superliga top scorer had this to say after signing the contract:

- I'm very happy at FC Copenhagen who, ever since I came to the club, have shown a great confidence in me. I have developed a great deal here in Copenhagen, but I also feel that I can develop myself more and meet more of my ambitions. I am therefore very pleased to commit future years to the white jersey and look forward to being able to pay back the great trust FCK have shown in me.

N'Doye secures a late winner for FCK against Rubin Kazan in the UEFA Champions League.
