Matic scores in Lions victory

FC Copenhagen bounced back from their Europa League heartbreak in midweek with a 3-1 win at Silkeborg IF on Sunday.

Federico Santander tapped home an Andreas Cornelius cross 67 minutes minutes in to cancel out Ibrahim Moro’s opener on the hour mark.

And the scores remained tied until nine minutes from time when Cornelius steered home a diving header from Peter Ankersson’s cross from the right.

Uros Matic then scored his first goal for FCK - blasting home a cut-back from Cornelius.

The result means Copenhagen finish the regular season 12 points ahead of second-place Brøndby in the Alka Superliga, which will now split for the remainder of the campaign.

FCK will learn their final 10 fixtures on Tuesday when the top six break away from the rest of the pack.
