Just seven minutes into the game FCK took the lead when Jørgensen latched onto a Michael Jakobsen flick-on, controlled the ball in the penalty area and buried his chance on the first attempt.

It was soon 2-0 as Jørgensen again proved his box predator instinct, rising at the near post to glance Pierre Bengtsson's corner kick into the far top corner of the net.

A Claudemir long throw led to Andreas Cornelius contesting with AaB defender Kenneth Emil Petersen and the latter could do nothing as the ball bounced off his head and past the goalkeeper for 3-0.

While just minutes before half time Christian Bolaños was brought down in the box following an off-the-ball incident, and César Santin stepped up to smash the subsequent penalty home and effectively earn FCK all three points before the break.
