FC Copenhagen fought out a spectacular 3-2 victory away to Club Bruges on Wednesday evening to book their place in the final round of UEFA Champions League qualifying. Watch match highlights here, from FCKTV…

Despite dominating large phases of the first half, FC Copenhagen found themselves a goal down after Bruges’ Jordi Figueras converted a solitary set piece on 24 minutes.

Yet the goal could not deter FCK from their task, with Nicolai Jørgensen slamming home an equaliser on the hour mark after great work by César Santin breaking through a solid Bruges defence.

But five minutes after the equaliser the Lions’ conceded again, this time defensive slips gave Vladis Odjidja-Ofoe the space to drill a low effort bow Johan Wiland and into the corner of the net.

Copenhagen’s efforts appeared fruitless as chance after chance fell away into nothing, but on 78 minutes Christian Bolaños tapped in a neat Bryan Oviedo cross to level the scores once more.

With FCK on course to qualify via away goals, Bruges sent men forward in the dying minutes. They thought they had won it just before stoppage time when Maxime Lestienne’s header crept into the far corner of Wiland’s goal, but it was thankfully ruled out for offside.

Still trying to find a goal, Bruges sent their goalkeeper up in the final seconds of the game for a corner. But Santin broke free from his own box with the ball and composed himself before tapping into a vacant net to hand FCK a stunning 3-2 victory.
