Lions announce new youth coach

FC Copenhagen have reached an agreement with 29-year-old Morten Grahn to become the new head coach of the FCK School of Excellence, where he will work closely with the young talent at the club. The agreement is a three-year contract to start this summer.


Grahn is a notable coaching figure, working closely with the development of young Danish talent. He has previously worked with youngsters at B93 and Lyngby BK. More recently, Grahn has been affiliated with the Red Bull Academy in Ghana, a partner academy to Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg.


Copenhagen’s manager of the FCK School of Excellence, Michael Mio Nielsen, had this to say about the appointment:


- We look forward to incorporating Morten Grahn into our team of skilled and talented coaches at the FCK School of Excellence, where he will help to enhance and develop the young talent. Morten is a talented young coach who both as a person and a coach possesses the qualities we demand at the School of Excellence. He is dedicated, focused and passionate about to working with the young players.
