Hooiveld to leave FCK

At the beginning of the spring FC Copenhagen formed an agreement with the Dutch defender Jos Hooiveld to bring in the Celtic-based man on loan until the end of the season. The agreement with Celtic also contained an option to buy.

However, as FCK Director of Sport Carsten V. Jensen explains to FCK.DK, the club have decided not to pursue the buy-option for the player, thus retuning Hooiveld to Celtic at the end of the season:

- Jos has done a good job with us in the spring games and has quickly settled down into the group. We have had ample time to assess Jos and we have reached a decision not to exercise this purchase option. We wish Jos every success and happiness wherever he goes from here.

There will be a farewell reception for Jos and the others players who will be leaving Copenhagen during the summer at the Guldfest celebrations in PARKEN on Sunday, immediately after the match against AaB.
