Goalless Derby

Number 1 and 2 in the Superleague opened the spring season with a goalless draw in front of 26.686 spectators in Telia Parken.

They saw an intense and physical game without many goalchances, and eventually the draw seemed like a fair outcome of the efforts on the pitch.

FCK had to change their defence due to Erik Johanssons disciplinary ban, but Jores Okore played a solid game in central defence with Mathias Zanka and secured clean sheet no. 23 for Robin Olsen in 36 matches in Denmark and Europa this season.

As often seen before, the Derby was not without drama, and referee Jakob Kehlet had to give four yellow cards to each side, and especially during the second half, it seemed like a red card was just around the corner.

The draw meant that The Lions still are 11 points ahead of Brøndby and remain unbeaten at the top of the table after 22 of the 36 rounds.
