Fresh off the back of their 3-1 won against Silkeborg last Sunday, the Lions faced a Horsens side impressing in the league this season. Head coach Ariel Jacobs made just once change to the XI, bringing in Thomas Kristensen for Daniel Jensen in the midfield.

FCK didn't get off to the best of starts as just 17 minutes into the match Horsens took the lead. Charles Takyi and Martin Spelmann exchanged a defence-splitting one-two before the former slid his effort low past Johan Wiland and into the net.

The goal stunned a raucous PARKEN crowd but Copenhagen gave them something to cheer about 12 minutes later when César Santin netted an equaliser in clinical fashion. Having watched Andreas Cornelius fire wide a decent chance minutes before, the FCK faithful knew a goal was coming and it was Nicolai Jørgensen and Santin's turn to exchange passes before the Brazilian dinked home his 10th goal of the season.

Copenhagen pressed on in the second half but struggled to threaten Horsens' goal. Igor Vetokele mistimed a good headed opportunity while goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow's boot was enough to block Cornelius' close-range effort late on.

It looked as though the scores would finish even until the last minute of normal time, when Claudemir and Jørgensen combined to earn the Brazilian the slightest of angles on the left edge of the penalty area. Claudemir didn't need asking twice: curling the ball across Rønnow and into the top right-hand corner of the net.

The result matches FCK's record of nine league victories in a row, one that can be broken against FC Midtjylland after the international break.
