FCK x Lavazza partnership

Two years after F.C. Copenhagen beat Atalanta in UEFA Europa League qualification, there is an Italian back in Telia Parken.

FCK can announce a new collaboration between the club and Italian coffee company Lavazza, who will soon offer new coffee experiences to football fans, concert-goers and everyone else, when they visit Denmark's national stadium.

When Telia Parken is able to open again under normal circumstances up to 500,000 fans annually can taste top quality Italian coffee.

The family-owned coffee company Lavazza has partnered with F.C. Copenhagen, which means that Telia Park's coffee machines will brew Italy's most popular coffee in the future.

Dedication, authenticity and innovation
FCK and Lavazza have a shared ambition to be the best, and it requires hard work and experience. Lavazza has created balanced and consistent flavours since 1895 by combining carefully selected coffee beans from the best coffee areas in the world and long-roasting them to a taste that has made Lavazza one of the world's most recognised coffee makers.

Coffee is the league of Danes
In 2015, Lavazza purchased Merrild Kaffe and thereby strengthened its position in Denmark, and the collaboration with F.C. Copenhagen is part of ambitions plans to spread Italian coffee passion to the Danes.

"Lavazza has a long tradition of being part of many international sports events," says Peter Falk, CEO of Lavazza Denmark.

"We Danes are in the Superliga when it comes to coffee, and we are proud that Lavazza is now also part of the biggest Danish sports scene together with F.C. Copenhagen. We are pleased that our coffee will be part of big, shared experiences. What could be more appropriate than Italian coffee accompanying the passions experienced in this great arena?"

F.C. Copenhagen also welcome the new collaboration.

“We want to give all our guests the best possible experience, and we know that Copenhageners really appreciate quality - even when it comes to their coffee," says FCK Commercial Director Jacob Lauesen.

"Now we have joined forces with one of the world's best in the field, and we look forward to sharing great experiences with Lavazza and our guests."
