FCK win first friendly

FC Copenhagen got their pre-season training campaign off to a winning start with a 3-0 friendly result over Amkar Perm in Austria.

The Lions are on their annual summer training camp and edged their Russian opponents in this opening fixture of the trip.

Danny Amankwaa swept home the first goal of the new season on 57 minutes before captain Thomas Delaney doubled FCK’s lead nine minutes later with a tidy left-footed effort from the edge of the area.

Benjamin Verbic secured the win late on when coming in from the left, exchanging a pass with Bashkim Kadrii and firing home.

The game was also a good test for debutants Rasmus Falk and Andrija Pavlovic.




Next up for Copenhagen is a friendly against Romanian side AFC Astra Giurgiu on Sunday July 3, kick off 18:00.
