FCK leave it late to beat Odense

FC Copenhagen left it late to beat OB in the Alka Superliga on Saturday as attention now turns to the Champions League.

Left-back Ludwig Augustinsson broke the deadlock in a tight affair with three minutes to go from the penalty spot.

The Sweden international clipped his effort into the bottom right corner of the net after captain Thomas Delaney had been felled in the box by Mohamed El Makrini.

And Andreas Cornelius bundled in a second moments later when colliding with goalkeeper Sten Grytebust to force the ball into the net.

The result keeps FCK apace with Brøndby at the top of the Superliga table, with both sides on 18 points from six games.

And the focus now switches to Europe and the Lions’ first Champions League group game at Porto on Wednesday.

The team will train in Portugal on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the clash the next day.
