FC Copenhagen sell Christoffer Remmer to FK Molde

FC Copenhagen can confirm Christoffer Remmer has moved to Norwegian side FK Molde.

Remmer, 23, made his Lions debut in 2012 and made 67 appearances for his boyhood club.

“I’ve been at KB and FCK since I was a boy and I have had many great experiences with the club and the people who are in it, so it's obviously hard to say goodbye,” Remmer told fck.dk.

“But I feel that it is the right time for me now.

“I need to play more at a high level and I am sure that the move to Molde is good for my future career. I look forward to the challenge.”

Remmer won two Danish Superliga titles and two DBU Cups while at the club.

“Christoffer Remmer has done a lot of good for FC Copenhagen, where he has delivered everything we asked of him both on and off the field,” manager Ståle Solbakken said.

“He rose to the first team back in the 2013/2014 season when he beat Lars Jacobsen to the right-back position but he suffered an injury that unfortunately took a long time to recover from.

“Now he needs to play regularly and, with Peter Ankersen and Tom Høgli in his primary position at right-back, we are covered.

“Therefore it was the best solution for both Christoffer and us. We wish him all the best and will follow him closely - and perhaps we see him back at FCK one day.”
