FC Copenhagen face APOEL in Champions League

FC Copenhagen will face Cypriot side APOEL in the Champions League playoff round.

The Lions were drawn out first against APOEL and will play their opening leg at home in Telia Parken on 16/17 August, with the return fixture on 23/24 August.

APOEL won the Cypriot First Division last season for the 25th time.

FCK qualified for the playoffs with a 4-2 aggregate win over Romanian champions Astra.

The winner of the two-legged tie will play in this season’s Champions League group stage, while the loser will drop into the Europa League.
