FC Copenhagen re-sign Christian Poulsen

FC Copenhagen have unveiled Christian Poulsen as their new midfield signing at a press conference in Telia Parken.

Poulsen returns to the Danish capital 12 years after his original stint as a Copenhagen player, where he made 45 Superliga appearances and scored 10 goals.

The 34-year-old moved to German side Schalke after the 2002 World Cup and has since played in some of Europe’s most prestigious leagues, joining Sevilla, Juventus and Liverpool before moving to Evian and then Ajax.

Over a 17-year senior career, Poulsen has earned 92 caps for Denmark and has scored six goals.

He was unveiled to the media this afternoon.
