F.C. Copenhagen to meet RC Lens

On Friday the 31st of August at 1300 (CET), UEFA undertook the draw for the first round of the UEFA Cup. The winner of the first round will qualify for the UEFA Cup group stage. The results of the draw saw F.C. Copenhagen paired with French side RC Lens in Friday's draw in Monaco.

The 1st leg is to be played at Stade Félix Bollaert in Lens, which means F.C. Copenhagen will play the return-leg at home in PARKEN on the 4th of October. Further match details, kick-off time and ticket information will follow early next week.

It will be the first match—up between RC Lens and F.C. Copenhagen, but the Danish national Team has good memories from Stade Félix Bollaert in Lens, as it was here they started their very successful World Cup 1998, when the defeated Saudi Arabia 1-0.

Let’s hope for another Danish victory at Stade Félix Bollaert…
