F.C. Copenhagen establish women's football company

F.C. Copenhagen Women are preparing for their debut season in Danish football and part of the set-up involves creating a new company F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S (F.C. Copenhagen Women's Football A/S).

The board includes the likes of director Sasha Denham, former Minister of Justice and Foreign Affairs Lene Espersen, and representatives of F.C. Copenhagen, FC Damsø, KB and B1903.

F.C. Copenhagen Women's Football A/S is a subsidiary of F.C. Copenhagen P/S.

"We are delighted that we have taken another step on the ambitious journey towards creating a strong women's team in F.C. Copenhagen, and that we have put together a board that will work hard to develop women's football at FCK and in Copenhagen," says Henrik Møgelmose, chair of the new company.

"We still have a long way to go, but we are all very motivated to get off to a good start, and we have put together a board that represents all parties in the collaboration."

Michael Stenskrog will act as deputy chairman, while Gert Petersen is KB's representative, Louise Bøje Jensen is B1903's representative, and Anker Thisted represents FC Damsø.

The other board members are director of CO/PLUS, Sasha Denham, who is also a player in FC Damsø's first team, and former Minister of Justice and Foreign Affairs Lene Espersen.
