FC Copenhagen to meet Beitar Jerusalem

The draw for the UEFA Champions League Friday 29th of June paired FC Copenhagen with Israeli champions Beitar Jerusalem. The first leg will take place in Copenhagen on 31st of July, while the away leg will be played on the 7th of August.

- It was probably the worst draw possible. The Israeli teams have made a strong impact on the European tournaments in recent years. Last year they had a team in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup, so we know that Beitar will be a competent opponent, says Head of Sports, Carsten V. Jensen.
