Europa League group draw made

FC Copenhagen will travel to Romania as part of this season’s Europa League campaign after being drawn against Steaua Bucharest. The Lions will also face German side Stuttgart and Molde of Norway.

Copenhagen were seeded in the second pot for the draw at UEFA headquarters and came out in Group E alongside Stuttgart. The club was then joined by Steaua and Molde to form a competitive group that will battle for two knock-out places this autumn.

FCK fans will welcome back former captain William Kvist to PARKEN, who will be dressed in Stuttgart colours. Meanwhile, a few hardy Scandinavians will no doubt make the long trip to Romania and may even undertake the 13-hour drive up the coast of Norway.

Match dates, kick off times and ticket information will all follow in due course.
