Statement regarding Jacob Neestrup

Jacob Neestrup has been head coach of F.C. Copenhagen since the autumn of 2022. During that period, the club has won two Danish championship[s and two Danish Cups, and has secured many great results when playing in European competitions.

This has made Jacob Neestrup a coach who is sought after by other clubs in Europe. This is quite natural when you succeed at a club like F.C. Copenhagen. It is also why the club, as a matter of high priority, extended Jacob Neestrup's contract in the autumn, so that it runs until 2029.

Jacob Neestrup will be at the helm as head coach in the upcoming season for F.C. Copenhagen. The inquiries that have been made to the head coach have been rejected.

Sports director Sune Smith-Nielsen and head coach Jacob Neestrup are both looking forward to the first day of training with the team on 22 June 2025.
