After two difficult away games against Horsens and Steaua Bucharest, the toll on the FC Copenhagen squad is evident and Jacobs has fresh injuries as well as long-term absentees to deal with.
Christian Bolaños could not play on Thursday evening in Romania after picking up a serious knock against Horsens last weekend, while Igor Vetokele is still in rehab with a hamstring niggle.
Andreas Cornelius, who held the line for FCK in Bucharest, received a hard knock just before half time and spent most of the break with the Lions physio receiving treatment. Fellow striker Mos Abdellaoue is continuing his comeback to full fitness and Jacobs seemed pleased with his squad’s overall progression.
