Moukoko: 'Great to be playing again'
Youssoufa Moukoko joined F.C. Copenhagen during the training camp in Austria and has now been in the Danish capital for a few weeks. So, after Friday's training, we asked him about his first impressions of Copenhagen and life as an FCK player.
"It's a lovely city, and I've got a good impression after walking around a bit and looking around. We also have fun together at the club, and I'm just happy to be playing football again," smiled "Muki", as he is called.
Moukoko has featured in FCK's last three games – the friendly with HSV, the Superliga win at Viborg, and Tuesday's Champions League qualifying triumph against Drita.
Discussing his experience in an FCK shirt so far, he said: “I didn’t expect the great reception from the fans and it was really nice to feel the support. It’s important that we have won these first games and of course we want to keep winning as much as possible, but there will also be setbacks during a season where we have to stick together and move forward.
“Personally, I feel that things are progressing both on the training pitch and in games, where I try to find positions in the attack and get shots or set up the others. I have also had a few shots where I have been a bit unlucky not to score.

"I feel really good, but I also need to get into a rhythm and constantly develop relationships with my teammates. I also want to get up to a higher pace, but I haven't played for a long time, and that will also come with time.
"That's why I'm also pleased that the coaches show trust in me and are so patient with me at the beginning."
Moukoko joined FCK from Dortmund this summer and has two full caps for Germany. He speaks German with Thomas Delaney and revealed who else can speak German in the squad.
"Jordan (Larsson) also speaks German, but otherwise we mostly speak English. But I'm also trying a little Danish and have already learned a few words," he added.
"'Mange tak' and 'Vi ses'. It's difficult, but I'm trying to learn a little, and then we'll see how much I can do when the season is over, and we hopefully have a lot to celebrate."
