2011/12 fixtures released

In a little over one month, FC Copenhagen will be thrown back into action with the start of the 2011/12 Danish Superliga season. On 17 July FCK’s campaign to defend their third title in a row kicks off. This week DBU published the fixture list for the entire season.

Copenhagen will start the defence of the Danish championship in Haderslev, with SønderjyskE the opponents. The club’s first home game is the week after, 24 July, where last season’s second place OB travel to PARKEN. The ‘New Firm’ clash against Brøndby IF will only be played once at home this season, and that isn’t until April 2012.

The season ends at home on Friday 25 May, against Silkeborg IF.
